The SUPER IRON FILTER (UFP) is a specific device for the removal of iron and manganese, through a catalytic filter bed formed of three layers of selected minerals: Cullcite (a low density granular anthracite, which forms the top layer), Cullsan (a very pure silica sand, free of carbonates, chemically inert) and Pyrolusite (natural mineral, 70% manganese dioxide, high density, free of additives and impurities), suitable for contact with potable water, having differentiated particle size and specific weights. Reactivation of the filter bed is done by the continuous injection of oxidizing reagent (preferably chloroderived). The ARSENIC FILTER (UFX) is a device specific for arsenic removal by means of an adsorbing filtering bed, made up by two layers of selected minerals: GFH (synthetic mineral of very pure and granular ferric hydroxide, with high porosity and specific surface) and Cullsan (very pure silica sand, without carbonates, chemically). These media are suitable for the production of water dedicated to human consumption, having granulometry and differed specific weights. At the end of the productive cycle, to be predetermined according to the quality of the water to be filtered, the device will automatically do the wash phase, generally using the same raw feed water at the operating conditions indicated below.
